This original pen & ink drawing by textile designer and artist, Christy Almond, was inspired by the modern line drawings and decorative objects from the mid-century modern period. The artist plays with link thickness to move the eye thru the composition and even switches from the long continuous line to add in small hatch marks for added texture. The piece is balanced by a circle all hand drawn by the artist without tools or preliminary drawings so the hand of the artist is apparent.
